Windows 11
Price: $
Just when you think Microsoft cannot come up with something new, they come with exactly that. Microsoft unveiled Windows 11 a few months ago, and since then, everybody has been trying to get on the new Windows for many reasons. Windows 11 by Microsoft is an operating system that is a big upgrade from its predecessor, Windows 10.
New optimization and control
It brings a new level of optimization, a whole new UI, and a better level of control. But that’s not strictly it. There are many smaller differences that you might not even see or care about in daily life, but they are there.
Officially launched by Microsoft on October 5, 2021, Windows 11 was free for everyone using Windows 10 as long as the computers were fulfilling the requirements. Perhaps, the biggest obstacle in installing Windows 11 is the strict system requirements such as the requirement of TPM 2.0, a minimum of 64 GB of available storage space, and a few more. It is only available in the 64-bit version, but it does support 32-bit applications.
Ever since its announcement, the hype was crazy, but Microsoft took its time to roll out a stable build that would make sure that there were no UI problems or app crashes. Minor glitches were there in the start but were soon fixed.
Set of Features, a whole new User Interface
When talking about the features, it only makes sense if we compare it to Windows 10. The first thing that you see in Windows 11 is a completely new visual interface that is eye-pleasing yet entirely functional. For starters, the taskbar is now in the center instead of on the left. It puts out a beautiful image that all your icons are in the middle and all the utilities are on the right.
There was a large focus by Microsoft on gamers as well when developing Windows 11, as there’s a great performance boost you will notice in most games. There are also widgets now available. Remember those from Windows 7? They are back and better than ever. Conferencing app Microsoft Teams is pre-loaded, so you can get started right away.
